What is the Golden Ticket?
The Golden Ticket allows Purdue Students the opportunity to purchase a Boarding Pass and Paint Crew membership before the general student body.

This year there are four ways to get a Golden Ticket:

1. Paint Crew Loyalty Program
  • Paint Crew members will receive loyalty points for attending Men's Basketball games and participating in select Paint Crew events. The top 10% of Paint Crew members (280 students) will earn a Golden Ticket.
  • Points and events will be shared to all Paint Crew members via email from the Paint Crew board.
2. Women's Basketball Attendance
  •  All current Purdue students can earn a Golden Ticket through Women's Basketball by attending 3 of 5 Golden Ticket games. There will be 2400 Golden Tickets available to those students who meet the attendance requirement.
  • Golden Ticket Games:
  • Purdue vs. UT Arlington on Sunday, Nov. 24 @ 1pm
  • Purdue vs. Maryland on Saturday, Dec. 7 @ 2pm
  • Purdue vs. USC on Wednesday, Jan. 22 @ 7pm
  • Purdue vs. Nebraska on Thursday, Jan. 30 @ 7pm
  • Purdue vs Indiana on Sunday, Mar. 2 @ 2pm
  • Attendance at the Indiana game and 2 others is required to qualify for the Golden Ticket
  • For your attendance to be tracked correctly you must follow these steps:
  • Students MUST have a STUDENT TICKET to the game in their account associated with their @purdue.edu email address.
  • Students MUST enter through the student entrance and make sure their ticket is scanned by the start of the game.
  • Students MUST stay until at least the start of the 4th quarter of the game.
  • Students leaving the game prior to the start of the 4th quarter ending will be scanned out and that game will NOT count towards meeting the 3-game requirement!
  • If there are more than 2400 students who meet the attendance requirements above then Golden Tickets will be awarded through a lottery system.
  • Students who receive a Golden Ticket through WBB attendance will be notified by March 7th with information on how to redeem their Golden Ticket.
3. Purdue Men's Basketball vs. IU Watch Party
  • Students who attend the annual Purdue Men's Basketball at IU watch party in Mackey Arena will have opportunities to win a Golden Ticket through on court competitions or random drawings held at the event.
  • The watch party is a free event for Purdue Students to attend and will be held on Sunday, Feb. 23 in Mackey Arena. Students are encouraged to check their emails the week before for more information.
  • Approximately 50 Golden Tickets will be available at the IU watch party.
4. Purdue Women's Basketball vs. IU Game
  • Students who attend the Purdue Women's Basketball game against Indiana on Sunday, March. 2 can enter into a random drawing for a Golden Ticket. These will be drawn at random at the conclusion of the game.  This allows for students who can’t attend 3 of 5 of the Golden Ticket games to have a chance just by attending this game.
  • Approximately 50 Golden Tickets will be available at the Purdue Women's Basketball Game post-game drawing.
  • Students must enter Mackey Arena and have their ticket scanned by tipoff in order to be eligible for the post-game drawing.

I am a current member of the Paint Crew, am I eligible to qualify for the Women's Basketball attendance lottery (option 2)?

Yes, all students are eligible to qualify for this option. Be sure to follow the directions and steps listed above.
I can't make it to the Purdue Women's Basketball game against IU, how can I be eligible for a Golden Ticket?

If you are a current Paint Crew member you can participate in options 1, and 3. None of these options require you to be at the WBB vs IU game.

If you are NOT a current Paint Crew Member you can participate in option 3. This option does not require you to be at the WBB vs IU game.
Do I need a Golden Ticket to be in the Paint Crew for the 2025-26 season?

This past year we sold out of Paint Crew memberships before the general student on sale. A Golden Ticket is the ONLY way to guarantee your access to the Boarding Pass and Paint Crew pre-sale.

All students who receive a Golden Ticket have a guaranteed opportunity to purchase their Boarding Pass and Paint Crew Membership before the General Student Body.
I am a Purdue Student, how do I get a ticket to Purdue Women's Basketball games?

If you have a 2024-25 Boarding Pass or 2024-25 Passport you can claim your free ticket in your student ticket account here.

If you do not have a 2024-25 Purdue Boarding Pass or Passport you can purchase a student ticket through your student account associated with your @purdue.edu email address. You can log into your account here. If you have not registered your account yet, you can do that here.
I am a Purdue Student, can I earn more than one Golden Ticket?

NO, only one Golden Ticket will be given per student.
How does the Paint Crew loyalty system work?

Paint Crew will provide and communicate information via email to the Paint Crew.
I won a Golden Ticket, when can I use it to purchase the Boarding Pass and/or Paint Crew membership?

Golden Ticket Winners gain their early access opportunity after the completion of both home basketball seasons to purchase their 2025-26 Boarding Pass and Paint Crew and/or Ross-Ade Brigade memberships.  Exact dates will be communicated to the winners at a later date.
I won the Golden Ticket but I forgot or couldn't purchase during the window, do I still have a chance to get the Boarding Pass and/or the Paint Crew Membership?

Yes, you still have the chance BUT you will be purchasing with the rest of the current Purdue student body if you miss your early access window.
