Request Purdue Pete for your event!
Requests need to be submitted at least six weeks prior to the event.
To request Purdue Pete for your event, complete the form below.
- Once the form is submitted all requests will be reviewed with our Spirit Calendar and General Guidelines.
- Please be aware of dates/times that have higher probability of conflict:
- Events in May – August have low availability due to students not on campus
- All Purdue Athletic Events and Game Days
- Academic testing in December/May
- Morning or afternoon week day events that are during the academic semester
- All pending requests will be given an answer as to whether the spirit squad will be able to appear at their event two weeks prior to the event.
- If the spirit squad is able to make the appearance, you will receive confirmation information from meetpete@purdue.edu to the email you provided on the request.
- Please be advised it is impossible for the squad to appear at all events at which they are requested.

Please Note:
- Out of town refers to outside the Lafayette/West Lafayette area. These events will be charged roundtrip mileage at the government mileage rate at the time of the event. This is due directly to Pete (student athlete) at the time of the event. This will also apply during the summer if Purdue Pete is driving to the event from his hometown.
- Nonprofit organizations & nonprofit (including elementary & middle schools) must provide a W-9 or IRS Determination Letter (Example: 501c3). Maximum 4 charity events a month.
- John Purdue Club members will receive a 20% discount. JPC Member number required.
- Please consider the following for off campus events, outdoor events, and events that are over 1 hour in duration:
- All events must provide a secure area for students to store personal items while at your event.
- All off-campus requests must provide a private area for Purdue Pete to change into suit.
- For all events outside and over one hour please provide water.
